The Lava Pendant Lamp is two completely different objects in one fixture. Switched off — a mirror-finish metallic sculpture that reflects the room back at itself, distorted and mesmerizing. Switched on — the same form dissolves into a field of fractured light that fills the ceiling and walls with an immersive, hallucinogenic quality no flat-shade pendant can approach. The gloriously distorted PVC surface is the mechanism for both effects. Four finishes, four sizes — from a compact 18 cm accent to a 48 cm room-defining statement.

Mirror Effect — Lights Off
The distorted metallic surface catches and fragments every reflection in the room — the furniture, the walls, the people. Even before the lamp is switched on, it occupies the ceiling as a compelling object that changes the visual energy of the room it's in.
Fractured Light — Lights On
When the bulb activates, the distorted PVC surface refracts and scatters the output in every direction simultaneously — the ceiling and walls fill with moving, fractured light patterns. The effect is immersive and immediate, unlike anything a conventional shade produces.

Three Lava pendants hung at different heights above a dining table or in a living room cluster create a ceiling installation where each mirror surface reflects the others — the fractured light from all three overlaps and compounds, filling a larger area of the room than any single fixture can reach. Mix sizes for a composed staggered arrangement: one 48 cm as the anchor, two 28 cm flanking it. Mix finishes for contrast: Silver and Gold together, or Rose Gold and Smoky Gray.
